Over the years, I've developed a keen understanding of the complex issues facing business owners in the type of volatile economy that we face today. My experience, academic studies, and industry credentialling have helped me to develop the skills to educate business owners to successfully apply the right strategies in the correct order and right time, allowing them to grow their business to its maximum capacity. I bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and proven success to help you unlock your business’s true profit potential. With over 35 years in banking, I’ve worked with businesses of all sizes, from startups to multimillion-dollar enterprises, helping them secure the financing and strategies they need to thrive. Whether it’s a loan for a few thousand dollars or structuring complex, high-value deals, I’ve seen it all—and I know how to position your business for financial success.

As a Certified Business Advisor, trained through Kent State University's rigorous program, I’ve developed advanced skills to help entrepreneurs navigate their business journeys with confidence and clarity. Coupled with my background as a serial entrepreneur, I understand what it takes to grow and scale a business from the inside out. My practical, real-world insights give me a unique ability to uncover hidden profit opportunities and deliver results that matter.
In addition to my expertise in business finance, I am a certified International Trade Specialists, a licensed REALTOR® and hold life, health, property and casualty insurance licenses, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of key industries that impact small business owners. Entrepreneurship isn’t just something I coach—it’s something I live every day. As the owner of a thriving commercial cleaning company, I know firsthand the challenges and rewards of running a business. My journey has also included experience in the restaurant industry and managing a mobile food business, giving me a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to succeed in diverse industries. These experiences have shaped my ability to connect with business owners on a deeper level and offer practical, actionable insights that resonate with real-world challenges.
Before founding FOCUSED Profit Strategies, I spent 35 years climbing the ranks in banking, starting as a teller and advancing through every department to ultimately hold the position of Market President. Overseeing five branches across two markets, I managed large teams, led strategic initiatives, and guided countless businesses toward financial success. I also spent several years as a Business Coach with the Kentucky Small Business Development Center. This depth of experience has equipped me with a unique perspective on what businesses need to thrive, from sound financial strategies to sustainable growth models.
One of my greatest motivations as a Business Coach is helping entrepreneurs achieve success without sacrificing their personal lives. I believe that true business success isn’t just about profit—it’s about creating freedom and balance, so business owners can enjoy time with their families, pursue their passions, and leave a lasting impact on their communities. That’s why my coaching approach is centered on not just building businesses but building lives that are fulfilling and meaningful.
I’ve always believed in giving back, which has led me to serve in various community and civic roles over the years. I’ve had the privilege of leading organizations such as the South London Little League as President, co-chairing the Upper Cumberland Community Foundation, and serving as a board member for the United Way and God’s Pantry Food Bank. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the power of community and the importance of small businesses in creating vibrant, thriving neighborhoods.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me cheering on my two amazing kids and spoiling my three incredible grandkids. I’m an avid sports fan, love spending time on the lake, enjoy camping adventures, and make a point to attend as many concerts as I can. These personal passions remind me of the importance of time freedom—a value I strive to instill in every entrepreneur I work with.
